Unlike standard treadmills there are no revolving belts - just individual slats engineered to encourage natural and independent gait behaviour.

The running direction can be reversed thus enabling observation of both frontal and posterior planes without moving the camera. The hand rail allows an un-interrupted 'head-to-toe' lateral view.

• To aid analysis a midline reference has been embedded into each segment of the track, providing a constant reference for the analyst.
