Dynamic Module: Screen Shots

FootWork's dynamic module is intuitive to use and displays clear and precise information that is simple to interpret.

FootWork captures pressure readings from either direction, automatically identifying left and right foot shapes.

Once data acquisition is complete you can delete corrupted samples e.g. a client miss-striking the plate, to create 'clean' data to analyse.

Dynamic: The Foots Velocity

The CoP is shown as an orange line from contact to toe off. The closer the dots are together the slower the foot is moving, the further the dots are apart the faster the foot is moving. This information helps the clinician to build a clearer picture of how the foot behaves relative to muscle function, and can help determine if stretching and strengthening strategies should be considered. You can zoom in closer to study every frame at varying speeds. Unlike other systems FootWork pro will measure and display the velocity, acceleration and direction of the COP of EVERY data sample taken – all 200 per second. Ask our competitors to show you that.
Dynamic Phases (Rear/Mid/Fore) Foot Timing

Unique to FootWork Pro, and provides an instant yet thorough examination of the foot’s timing. The software divides the foot into three specific areas, rearfoot, midfoot and forefoot while measuring the time the centre of pressure spends in each area. This information is displayed and compared against ‘ideal values’ (Rearfoot 27%, Midfoot 40 % and Forefoot 33%). The resultant image provides quantative information that your patient can easily understand.

FootWork Pro automatically divides the foot into regions of interest (Met Head etc) so that the force and pressure can be accurately analysed and associated with foot behaviour and mechanics. Where FootWork Pro differs from other systems is its ability to customise/define the area of interest after data collection a more extensive and personal analysis. The system will calculate the pressure value in the defined area,( maximum and mean) and can be viewed as an independent graphs of Force v Time, Sensors (area) v Time and the combination of the two Pressure v Time.
Dynamic Pressure Over Time

The main overview screen for dynamic plantar pressure. All key information is collated and displayed within this view. The foots CoP, its velocity, mean and maximum pressure. All vital information to establish the foots timing, function and its behaviour. Within the menu you can display this information with simple Red = More programming. Unique to FootWork Pro is how it records and displays the maximum force. During data capture the position of maximum force is recored (200 times a second) and displayed as a purple lime. Being able to see maximum force relative to the CoP is a key determinator for injury/pathology.
Dynamic Force Chart

This screen displays Force vs Time as a graph, it provides clear and precise information of how the foot is reacting. The speed of the time-line can be adjusted or paused to analyse pressure, foot behaviour, timing and phasing, all factors that help the identification of injuries or pathology. Each data sample can be compared individually or as an average. Beneath the graphs you will see podograph pressure display that will aid identification of peak and the foots centre of pressure.
Dynamic Video

This screen shows a intergrated webcam recording synchronous images of the foot walking over the mat during data capture. The combination of views allows quick intereptuion of movement, pressure and timing. Replaying the video file frame by frame showing 'real time pressure capture is ideal for client communication. The 'Study Area' enables defined areas of interest (injury/pathology) to be examined with the use of force vs time graphs.

The 3D display provides wonderful qualative information for your client. The display can be viewed statically as 'total pressure' or dynamically as a movie. It is possible to adjustment the 3D scale, defination and observation speed of the image. A simple 'dashboard' enables the image to be scrolled frame by frame providing a great insight into the foots pressure behaviour. Left and right feet can be synchronised at intial contact to highlight assymetry.

Static Module

FootWork Pro's static analysis aids identification of elevated plantar pressure and postural sway. Three areas of analysis are available; General, 3D and advanced Stabilometry. Capture time and frequency (up to 200hz) can be set to suit your analysis needs. Data is clearly displayed with options for mean, maximum and total pressure values.

Static General Observation

This view displays the distribution of plantar pressure under static observation. The centre of (overall) mass (CoM) is shown using cross-hairs, while mass distribution is calculated for each of the four quadrants as a percentage. Also highlighted is the CoP of each foot and its position relative to the CoM. Either mean or maximum pressure can be selected. Drawing tools are available to measure distance and angles on screen.
Static Stabilometry Measurement

‘Stabilometry' analysis: Pressure is measured over time and distance capturing anterior, posterior and lateral displacement. This creates 'pressure ellipses' showing the displacement of the CoP of each foot, and the displacement of CoM for the whole body. This will highlight poor posture, instability and asymmetry, while there shape indicates planes of movement. The data is also shown in displacement graphs with pressure and time values along the axis. Capture time and frequency (up to 200Hz) can be set to suit your analysis needs.

3D observation: The analysis data is converted into this three dimensional display to create a fantastic qualative image, it is an indispensable communication tool between you and your patients. The values can be adjusted to highlight peak pressure and the view rotated within the screen to provide you and your clients with the best prespective. Switching between mean, maximum and total pressure is simple. These views as well as you notes may be added to your reports.
